The Alocasia Cuprea Pink Mint Variegata shows two lightening tones side by side on the metallic coppery leaf surface: cool mint and warmer pink. Neither comes out equally strong on every leaf.
 
This genus needs more attention than Monstera but rewards it with exceptional leaf structure. Warmth, humidity from 60 percent and a very free-draining mix are the three decisive factors. Growers who reduce watering in winter and accept the dormancy end up with stronger plants.
 
The variegation is sectoral. Every new leaf develops its own pattern: sometimes a pronounced half-moon, sometimes a mostly green leaf, sometimes a very pale one. This variation is inherent to the mechanism and cannot be controlled through care. The node tells you more than the current leaf: shoots emerging from variegated tissue are more likely to carry the pattern forward.
 
This plant is rooted and established. After shipping it may take a few days to acclimatise — slight leaf stress, curled leaves or a growth pause in the first two weeks are normal. Heavily variegated leaves are more vulnerable in transit than green ones and may show occasional browning at the edges.
