The Alocasia Golden Bone Pink Variegata is an exceptional collector plant with a robust leaf structure and a striking pale to pink variegation. The variegation can range from fine marbling to very pale, broad areas and forms a strong contrast with the green part of the leaf.
 
Bright position, indirect light, temperature steady above 18 °C, no draughts. Alocasia reacts sensitively to sudden changes of position and occasionally answers with leaf loss. That too is reversible: as long as the tuber is firm, the plant will push new growth.
 
The variegation is genetic and develops individually with every new leaf. Colour intensity, pattern and the share of variegation can therefore vary from leaf to leaf. Heavily variegated plants in particular may at times produce distinctly paler or greener leaves again.
