The Alocasia Sedenii Aurea shows a striking yellow to lime-green variegation that can run across the leaf either finely marbled or in broad areas, depending on the leaf. The contrast between the darker green and the luminous Aurea sections makes every leaf individual. This Alocasia grows compactly and develops larger, stronger leaves as it matures. Humidity from 50 percent supports leaf development; room conditions are sufficient. The temperature should stay steadily above 22 °C. The variegation ranges from sectoral to marbled. Every new leaf develops its own pattern: sometimes broadly Aurea, sometimes finely marbled, sometimes predominantly green. This variation is inherent to the mechanism and cannot be controlled through care. This plant is rooted and established. After shipping it may take a few days to acclimatise — slight leaf stress, curled leaves or a growth pause in the first two weeks are normal. Delivery quality: you receive a comparable plant from the same batch as shown. Since every variegation is unique, no two specimens are alike.
