The Alocasia Sedenii Pink Variegata is an exceptional collector plant with elongated, textured leaves and a characteristic pink to cream variegation. On young plants in particular the colouring can seem restrained at first and become more pronounced as the leaves grow.
 
Bright position, indirect light, temperature steady above 18 °C, no draughts. Alocasia reacts sensitively to sudden changes of position and occasionally answers with leaf loss. That too is reversible: as long as the tuber is firm, the plant will push new growth.
 
The variegation is genetic and develops individually with every new leaf. Colour intensity, pattern and the share of variegation can therefore vary from leaf to leaf. A greener or less intensely coloured leaf does not mean the plant has lost its variegation.
