The Monstera Deliciosa White Monster Variegata carries white to cream sectors on dark green leaves. This is a young plant: fenestration and full leaf size only develop over the coming growth phases.
Bright, indirect position — an east-facing window, or two metres back from a south-facing one. Keep the mix loose and free-draining with bark or perlite. If a fully white shoot appears, cut back to the last node with green tissue: growth without chlorophyll cannot sustain itself and drains the plant.
The variegation is sectoral. Every new leaf develops its own pattern: sometimes a pronounced half-moon, sometimes a mostly green leaf, sometimes a very pale one. This variation is inherent to the mechanism and cannot be controlled through care. The node tells you more than the current leaf: shoots emerging from variegated tissue are more likely to carry the pattern forward.
This plant is rooted and established. After shipping it may take a few days to acclimatise — slight leaf stress, curled leaves or a growth pause in the first two weeks are normal. Heavily variegated leaves are more vulnerable in transit than green ones and may show occasional browning at the edges.
Delivery quality: you receive a comparable plant from the same batch as shown. Since every variegation is unique, no two specimens are alike.
